So, I recently got rid of my Suburban 2500, which was a fast mean truck. It did 0-60 in 6 seconds flat while weighing 6700lbs.Had a 6L V8 with 3.73 gearing. Beastly truck, but I had over 30k in it, and given my other truck has another 50k in it, I needed to free up some cash and get a cheaper 2nd truck.

Since I plan on lifting my next truck too, I'm reserving 5k just for tires/rims/lift/maintenance. I don't want to go over 15k since I'm paying cash, so H2s look like the cheapest SUVs/trucks that money can buy.
They are all with 4x4 feature, have HD front suspension and 1/2 ton chevy rear axel, which can be beefed up with heavier duty springs or airbags for towing. It has a big V8 just like my suburban 6.0L. And It's actually a decent looking truck when lifted.

    What do you guys think?

I would ideally like to find a 07-14 Sierra/Silvardo Crew cab, but they are 14-15k with less than 100k miles, and since I don't plan on spending over 15k, they go out of question, unless I run into a deal.

In case I'm doing some service on my other truck or some mod that's taking some time. Heavy duty trucks, eventually shit happens and they gotta be in the shop for a bit and I'm not leasing some mobile from Enterprise Rent a Car.

    See above.

H1 is not a humvee. It's a very expensive knock off GM produced. The seating space is crammed because they ran the driveshaft and differentials into the cab so inside you're sitting in a tight little space. But that's half the issue. This truck comes with 37s and non-tuned Diesel engine that averages 0-60 in about 20 seconds. It also can't really go over 60mph, and due to suspension cutsomized for offroad it can't tow worth a shit. You have dump trucks that can go faster than that. It's strictly an off-road truck with no practical street use.

It only looks cool, but there is nothing actually cool about it. Soliders drove humvees because they had to.

I'm thinking about getting an electric i-Hummer. It holds enough juice to get to end of the driveway and back! It's like a large, glorified golf cart.

    Probably black.
But I could go white if it's a good deal.

    Have you owned an H2?

I'm very familiar with GM front suspension, which usually is the culprit of most problems. I could probably switch most parts myself. The 6.0L V8 chevy HD engine is bulletproof for 250k miles easily. It's a very solid motor. Transmission is also good.
Most things that go out are steering gear box and front suspension components because H2 like all GM HDs, have independent front suspension.

I wonder how many times this guy actually used a truck to haul or carry something. Bet that bed is as pristine as his hands.
