Things that happened during a fight that makes you cringe?

1. Sam Alvey smiling during the fight while losing
2. Jose Aldo turtled up taking 100 unanswered punches from Yan while the ref watches

Not what you’re going for but Holloway vs Kattar for the best part of 4 rounds sure was painful to watch.

Any figther that starts clowning or showboating.

That second that shit starts I immediatly start to hope that he gets knocked the fuck out.

When grappling specialists cannot get the fight to the ground and repetitively flop to the ground in a lazy almost submission fashion. It’s after they fail at clinching for trips of throws, fail at take downs, and finally fail to even corral their opponents to the cage... while getting absolutely pieced up on the feet they’ll try to feign as if they were badly connected on and in trouble, but lazily acting and the arse flop makes it obvious. Then they’ll repeatedly try the same miserable maneuver, it stalls the fight and the referee just stands them up anyway... I’m just thinking that you need to take your ass beating like a man or actually get in danger enough to land or let your foe crack you so that getting dropped is actually convincing.

Kimbo vs Alexander both being so tired they put their hands on their knees for a collective rest...
I can not honestly express how excited I was for that fight. I was expecting Houston to knock Kimbo's head off. That was the worst 30 minutes of my life, and yes that is hyperbole.

Ryan Hall's last fight must've drove you insane. Lol

Those fights where they are constantly high fiving eachother after landing a good punch/kick, and hugging during the fight when one lands a good shot. its sickening and a huge disgrace to the history of this sport. Ultimate Fighting its long gone

Now hugging and high fiving after the fight has finished is absoutley fine and respectful. But when they are doing it so many times in the actual fight then it might as well be a work
That pat Barry vs crocop fight was so akward. Especially since pat dropped him more than once and decided not to follow up and then when crocop had his chance he jumped on the choke immediately lol.

I honestly thought it was a bad look for the UFC, but I definitely respected Hall for trying to the point that he went out on his shield... Werdum earlier in his career would’ve begged you to get on and touch junk in a missionary position.

GAY

Not that there’s anything wrong with finding love in a man’s hairy ass.

When the UFC posts random tweets on the screen during fights.

Also, the non-stop sponsorships that the fighters aren't allowed to touch. The fight clock brought to you by my ass.

When someone I'm rooting for rocks their opponent and then shoots on a takedown against clinch. I'm like NOOOO!!!

rumble trying to wrestle daniel cormier. swear he threw that fight on purpose

I haven't watched that fight in years but IIRC I think DC cracked him with a hard shot early on which I felt like scared the shit out of him which is why he kept grappling instead of standing with him

When the clear loser of a fight raises his arms after the bell and/or when the ref is about to declare the winner.

Hugging when rounds start. It's a fight and not a fucking date.

Everytime these "fighters" as start begging "hey Dana!!! Please give me title shot/money" etc

Germaine's late punch vs Holm.

The awkard hugging, especially at the start of the third round. It's like a comedian laughing at his own jokes.
akward for you, sure if you have never been in there with someone that brought you close to your limits you will never know.

I cringe when Craig Chakson yells about how effective a strike was and what the result was, i.e. "oh wow, great punch holly! That really hurt her"...

When the reality is "oh, wow... That strike almost connected"... There's better examples but it hasn't happened in a decade it seems and no one has a memory that long
