I was super impressed by how he handled an ADCC gold and silver medalist on the ground. I believe at one point Rani went for a leg lock and he just stood up and gave zero fucks.

Jeez Tavares, going full Lil Nog lately. Pretty late to get anyone on his level most likely, but Tom is pretty new to the UFC. I don't think a newly signed talent facing him would be the worst thing.

Everyone is ducking Tom, it seems. It took a long time to find an opponent for him and now that isnt happening either.

Get Niklas Backstrom or Martin Buschkamp in there

Shiiiit. Off the top of my head I'm thinking Corassani. He's Swedish so he would fit in a European card.
Then again it wouldn't be a very impressive win for Tom. I see him beating Akira quite handily.

Ugh. Sucks for Tom. Was a very winnable fight too... :icon_conf

Akira has just gone through surgery. Poirier opened up the old nose injury that he got from Blanco's dirty knee.

I like the idea of Martin Buschkamp or maybe even Max Coga. Should be no problem getting either to fight in their homecountry.

Or if they want to draw more scandinavian interest (and see him get his ass kicked by a Royal Swede), Niklas B

If they don't want to grab someone outside of the UFC, maybe Tukhugov?

    Same here.
Hard pill to swallow as a big Rani fan though.
