I agree, but it's a fun fight and at the end of the day, the UFC wanna make money. If they make it soon, it wouldn't be so bad. Let Santos and Texiera fight for the next shot, and let Rakic/Jiri/Ankaraev /Reyes flesh out who's on the horizon in a year.

That’s going to be summer 2021 probably. And what if Jones comes back around that time? He’d for sure cut the line. So now we’re talking about a year+ possibly.

Absolutely, if he Champ-Champs it's only massive PPV Red Panty nights from then on out.. No way he continues to fight folks who have worked for it, I can't see any of his next fights after Jan being anyone but Stipe, Jon or Francis only maybe exception Chimaev.
