They Remade The Black Album

Stands out for me are:

Enter Sandman – Ghost
Enter Sandman – Weezer
Sad But True (Live) – Sam Fender
Sad But True – St. Vincent
Nothing Else Matters – Miley Cyrus feat WATT, Elton John, Yo-Yo Ma, Robert Trujillo, Chad Smith
Nothing Else Matters - Dave Gahan

For anyone that only passively knows about Miley Cyrus, I highly recommend watching her cover. Her voice is perfect for rock and she really has a great style and range. A modern Stevie Nicks if I dare...

I didn't like the Miley cover at all. I haven't listened to any of the others yet.

The Unforgiven is one of my favorite songs, so I'm hoping the covers of it are good.

Edit: so far I've listened to Ghost, Miley, and Cage the Elephant. All this experience has done for me up to this point is increase my appreciation for James Hatfield.

PUP is a fantastic band but only the second verse kind of sounded like them. I’ll check out OFF!’s version later..

I really hate to say it, but I am actually curious about how her cover sounds. I fucking hated her about a decade ago and now I feel like we probably are more alike than I'd like to admit. She's got a fairly unique voice, like she's smoked for 30 years but in a good way.

A few of these have me kind of curious, but honestly I just wish they would release And Justice For All with the bass put back in. I know there's a fan version of the but it should be official.
Her cover of "Jolene" won me over on her. She can definitely sing.

I know none of those names except Roxette but I'm guessing that's somebody else.

This shit is so epic. Its got everyone updating the all the songs off Metallic Black Album with 53 songs and 3 or 4 versions of each song.

This bumps

and this slaps.

I remember it being Load where they turned that corner (oh my god, they got haircuts!!!) The Black Album was were they became Guns N Roses. Too successful for their own good. I never got the complaining at the time. Great music is great music and those songs were classics from the get go. It’s not like they “sold out” to become Nelson or Mr Big.

I got into them a few months before master of puppets. so i started off with ride the lightening...then mop, and then kill em all...and then the garage days... and that was it for a long time.
i had a hillbilly buddy that would not play anything but the black album.

it took me about 15 years to accept And Justice for All. I am one of those guys who was a big cliff burton fan and thinks the band went to shit without him.
and i accept AJFA but i do not think it is anywhere close at all to being as good as the previous albums.
also, i did check out the original songs on garage, and all those songs sucked except for the misfits ones of course. metallica made them so damn good.
i was also a huge misfits/samhain fan starting back in 85/86
