The talent is not there. They need to let these guys grow, and this entire season was apparent. Just washed up nobody's and one dimensional wrestlers beating up and coming fighters with some potential. The entire season boiled down to who had better TD's for the most part. Outcomes would have been the same if they where just wrestling matches.

I quit watching TUF many TUFs ago.

Last TUF I watched was the one before the Live one (15?)

It wasn't that great then but now it just seems pointless. Crowning 5 people a year the ultimate fighter doesn't mean anything especially when those fighters get released within a year.

There's a lot of talent out there, 5 fighters from UFC 200 are coming from TUF.

It also forces young fighters with potential to fight seasoned journey men, injured due to lack of rest a lot, and have huge set backs in their career. Look at Justin Lawrence.

TUF's time has passed for sure. The UFC would be a lot better off helping younger fighters fight in smaller organizations and look to sign them if they establish themselves a little bit. Hardly anyone is watching TUF anymore so I can't believe the ratings are significant for advertisers.

No, YOU need to take a break from TUF. I think they're doing just fine.

most entertaining parts of TUF were the pranks (jizz sushi / pee in fruit bowl lol)/

I haven't watched a season of tuf since the second, one I think.

Seems every time I see a TUF finale it ends with a wrestler blanketing their opponent. Last time it was that Ryan Hall guy who just clung on to whoever he fought.

I watched season one and remember the Griffin Bonnar fight. Thats all I remember of TUF. Also seen clips of lemme bang bro on youtube. Thats about the extent of my TUF watching.

They need to get rid of the US TUF or at least have only one for every year or two. If people want to watch them let them watch the international ones with subtitles.

Last season I watched was probably Koscheck and GSP. Theyve had big name fighters coach but it still doesnt make me wanna watch it

Lol. They don't need to do shit. If you don't want to watch it then don't.

I skipped years of it and started watching when Ronda and Tate did it. I've watched the last 3 seasons and it's kinda whatever but it's on after I get home from work and nothing else is on so I watch it.

I watched the first 15 seasons up until the live one. Quality started going way downhill after that. I just don't care anymore especially for the lighter weight seasons. This upcoming one is flyweight? Yeah, don't care.

It's fine. The whole point of it is to get new fans of the sport by gently introducing them to MMA while using a familiar reality tv/gameshow format. If a good fighter comes out of it then it's a bonus. Nobody is expectig TUF to be some kind of super amazing fighter factory.

I quite enjoyd black house vs ATT except for those god awful pathetic owners...

If the point is to find hidden gems, I think they are doing fine. People expect more out of these guys right out of the gate. That's the problem. People look at the fighters and think the days of potential title challengers are over. Maybe if our expectations were a little more realistic? Look at Neil Magny, for example. When both Colton Smith and Mike Ricci washed out of the UFC, that season looked like a massive bust. Maybe for the most part, it was. But nobody saw Magny coming.

But maybe that isn't enough. Maybe nobody wants to waste their time on a season in hopes that a Magny will come along. Maybe people would rather have more of a chance at either potential champs or at least a plethora of fighters with some staying power. If so, maybe they should go after some top unsigned talent, find a way to make it worth their while to be on the show, and do it that way.

Maybe another comeback season?

Maybe another HW season like TUF 10? TUF 10 sort of looked like a joke at face value. On the surface, it looked like a vehicle to get Kimbo Slice into the UFC and benefit from his star power. Then, for anyone in the know, you had the real favorite, Roy Nelson. After all, a chunk of the contestants were former football players looking for a MMA career. Ironically, a few of the more successful ones were former football players with little to no MMA expereince. Maybe they should try looking for the next Brendan Schaub or the next Matt Mitrione.
