These last couple fights reminded me Bones ducked his way out of the Rumble fight

Bones doesnt have the shot/chain wrestling of DC. He doesnt have the style to just grind, and continuously change grips, entries and positions against the cage to snatch a single and get a TD. Bones TD style is alot more similar to Phil Davis alot of clinch work and underhooks, trips and drags. Hed have to have stood with Rumble for prolonged periods

Considering the success Santos and Reyes had with their counterpunching and kicking game i have no doubt Rumble wouldve TKOd him

too bad Bones was so shook he had to go on a coke binge from nightmares of Rumble and getting into DUIs and hit and runs to avoid the fight

 

I hate Jon but I don't think he ducked anyone except the HW division.

Jones a POS, but in regards to who he has faced in the Octagon at 205 he's ducked no-one. Obviously fights can fall apart & external issues will affect fights being made but to hint that Jon has ducked anyone is ridiculous when you look down the list of Legends & Beasts he has faced over the years.

 

Jones may be the least ducking dominant champ in history. Know what you are talking about before typing malarkey newb

 

I will always give DC credit for beating that destroyer twice while Jones never had to.

Ducked Rumble, wouldnt give Gus his rematch for years, wouldnt even fight Shale fucking Sonnen on short notice and needed an entire camp/TUF to prepare. Bones is hardly some taking anyone at any time type of champion not even close
