That has absolutely nothing to do with class. In MMA just because a person falls to the ground does not mean the fight is over. They must continue to hit him or submit him for the finish.

As an MMA fan I have absolutely no problems with what mayweather did, ortiz was trying to make friends and paid heavily for it.
