I'd tend to agree with this.I mean really, it comes down to the same thing regardless of if you're the shorter, or longer fighter. Just in opposite fashions. Distance control. The longer guy is trying to keep the opponent at the end of the punch, the shorter guy is trying to get inside it. But moral of the story, distance control. The one who better dictates that distance, lands their preferred shots more often than not. We've seen plenty of cases of both being successful.

Cormier is perfect example. Not sure if he has short reach, but in absolute terms he's a 5-10 dude fighting in LHW and HW against guys much taller and longer than him... Shows how powerful wrestling can be.Absolutely.
