It's a gimme fight to set up a super fight at this point.

Wins on steroids, fails test, and doesn't get a superfight.

Loses off steroids and doesn't get a superfight.

Deal with it.

it's his toughest challenge at LHW, barring DC. If there isn't a chance of him losing then who could realistically beat him?

Gus gave Jones the hardest fight of his career. I got Jones winning this, but I wouldn't sleep on Gus' chances here, especially without Jones' "dick pills" being there to enhance his performance.

What if Gus punches him in the face like really really hard?

Jon Jones will be on less steroids so you never know. Styles make match ups and Jon Jones barely got by him last time. Of course this was like 5 years ago. So many things have changed since then by both guys.

gus has similar length to JJ. JJ is highly skilled but he relies on his length almost as much. that is why the first Gus fight was so hard for Jon.

Chlorodehydromethyltestosterone is one hell of a drug. Gus better eat some extra meat for this one.

Happened already when he was in prime actually fighting regularly. Why not again after the layoff?

I mean, we have a sample of gus having success against him. You can claim under training or not but it's still going to be a confident gus walking in cause in his mind he thinks and knows he can fight with the guy and beat him. And a confident gus is real dangerous cause he gave DC a hell of a fight too. Guy is just plain talented. Whatever the result, this fight is huge for the purists.

I tend to agree. Jon Jones has proved me wrong too many times when I’ve doubted him. I think it will be a pretty competitive fight, but Jones gets the win. Probably a finish. I think he is taking this right very serious and will be better prepared this time around. I’m not a fan of his, in fact I think he’s a jackass, but I recognize greatness when I see it.

"There is no way Jones loses" - does not present why.

If Gus ever has a chance it's now. JJ looked kinda terrible against OSP in his last comeback after steroid use. I'm just glad JJ is back fighting and not wasting his prime years just because he got popped when pretty much everyone uses.

Jones hasn't fought in a long time and he will be rusty. He will also presumably be off of roids
