That the Conor hype has died. You american fans just dump their athletes at first sign of failure. You guys are actually bad for all sports not just MMA. Im an international fight fan and we love our fighters and will root for them forever. Do you guys actually think the irish have stopped supporting him??? Sit back, get your popcorn ready. Have a coke and shut the F up

When Conor loses his next fight he will be completely irrelevant.

Just like when micheal bisping lost to rashad?? He lost all support?? How about when he lost to Wand?? Or hendo???? He just beat anderson silva...

Thus he was forced to headline foreign cards his entire career. Conor will still be a draw just only in Ireland and only on fightpass :D

dude!! dont spit that shit on an MMA sight. Hardcore fans that actually love the sport are completely different than people who saw a ufc commercial and thought"oh hey that guy talks so much shit, he must be a good fighter. if you want to say something. go on espn forums. sherdog isnt the right place

Good for him and his real fans. I don't think there was much jumping off of his bandwagon though. The real issue was hyping him up to the extent that he was the supposed GOAT before he even had a string of wins against the best fighters in his division. The backlash was more against the fans that were being unreasonable in their estimation of his ability and historical standing. He has the type of style that entertains, win or lose, so he'll keep getting fights and making good paydays. Especially if a large Irish contingent is willing to fly out to watch him fight.
