OofUFC just signed a new 10 year contract with them
Its a hypothetical my dear friendUFC just signed a new 10 year contract with them
Damn that's a long contract to lock into, wonder if they put any back door exit clauses in it in case they want to get out.UFC just signed a new 10 year contract with them
Just imagine how much better UFC would be without USADA.... WAY less injuries, WAY less gassing, WAY less botched weight-cuts, better fights, more frequent fights, the list goes on! It's almost utopian.
MMA and MMA training put an unnatural strain on the human body but this can largely be mitigated. USADA prevents this mitigation and thus we end up with what we have now.

UFC renews contract with USADA, increases drug testing by 30 to 40 percent
they ain't goin anywhere in a while..
Its a hypothetical my dear friend
yes it's utopian indeed..because it's not real. there would be more injuries and adverse effects of all the fighters who doesn't know how to dose and use properly, possibly even deaths, like they had in cycling. there's no realism in your dream, bro. what's "unnatural" is using PEDS to gain an advantage that you fail to get by putting in more work, the champions will be the best doping connectsJust imagine how much better UFC would be without USADA.... There's a counterpoint to it though. Cause you end up with guys like Mark Kerr, Mark Coleman, and Kevin Randleman who suffered greatly in middle age from a wild west atmosphere of ped use during their career. The testing isn't designed to make the sport itself better. It's there to save fighters from their own ambitions, and liability issues down the road most likely. Example being the huge anti trust lawsuit that a lot of fighters were tied to. If and when there's ever a death related to a UFC fight, having USADA in place will pay dividends for them as far as liability goes.Just imagine how much better UFC would be without USADA.... Well they had a lot more problems than steroidsThere's a counterpoint to it though. Eliminate the tainted supplement excuse, it's a loophole that's already been exploited (See Jones' 2016 case).Get rid of it

That's a good postEliminate the tainted supplement excuse, it's a loophole that's already been exploited (See Jones' 2016 case).
After eliminating the tainted supplement excuse, there's no need to make failed tests confidential, so revert that change.
Make missed tests public knowledge.
Get rid of the snitch clause, unless USADA makes who got snitched on public knowledge, otherwise we simply have to take their word for it that some other athlete/distributor got busted.
Limit retroactive TUE's to life-threatening situations so it can't be exploited a la Cyborg.
And unless USADA/arbitrator can cite a peer reviewed study to support their claims, such claims shouldn't be part of policy/arbitration.
