To have his hands raised! I’m not salty because he won, but I’m shocked because the guy basically was one DNA strand from going to sleep and was wobbly the rest of the fight from the crazy onslaught. It’s like saying, we will give him the win for not getting KO’d all the way and for surviving! That doesn’t make sense because he was basically clinging to staying conscious more than defeating Romero, extremely strange and unfair call from the UFC judges! Do my words make sense or do you not agree?

You need pride scoring to continue your argument.

Robert 124 if rnd 5 was 10-8 it was a draw.

Also saying onslaught is an extreme stretch.

No they don't make sense. Specifically, I don't know what you mean when you say he was one DNA strand away from sleeping.

Yoel won that second fight.

Had him hurt in the 3rd, 4th, AND 5th round.

Not hating on Bobby Knux though - Legit NICEST guy in the biz right now.

Not that it matters for scoring purposes.

Are you not impressed he accomplished what he did in both fights both times having only 3 limbs to work with?

I had Whittaker winning 3 rounds to 2

These Yoel fans scare me with their devotion. Missed weight second title fight in a row? Still my champ! Loses fight where winning belt was not an option? Still my champ!

Absolutely.

BOTH these guys are head & shoulders ahead of the pack at 185.

Incredible fighters.

Why did you make this thread? Look inside yourself.

One of the greatest fights of all time. BOTH beat the absolute shit out of eachother. Look at Romeros face in the video he posted while in the hospital. Not to mention getting his knee kicked literally 200 times by Robert. Yoel is probably going to have trouble walking for a long long time. Those HAD to do some real damage.

But yea, I don't know how a guy can lose when he rocked his opponent 5 times, in 3 separate rounds. There is a real argument one round was a 10-7.....and its an absolute TRAVESTY that there wasn't even a 10-8!

I'm not mad because I was rooting for Bobert, and Yoel missed weight anyways. Not to mention I still think Yoel is a blatant cheater. But that decision is suspect to say the least...

At bare minimum it should have been a draw.

AB I thought the same as well. Fight metrics be damned, Yoel had him rocked in all the rounds you mentioned.

100 brother. I thought the same thing

Even my wife said, "Whittaker worked him early, but Yoel beat him up after that."

heh-heh

10-7? I think you've been listening to Anik a bit too much. I rewatched the fight for a second time and it's not even close to a 10-7. Either 10-9 or 10-8 but not a 10-7.

If you rock your opponent and have them in real danger IE close to finishing its supposed to be a 10-8. Yoel not only had Robert in danger, but it looked like Robert had the fear of god in his eyes and that if so much as a gust of wind hit him right, he would go down again. He was in a WORLD of shit. Probably one of the worst rockings I've ever seen someone survive. it was way more than a guy simply getting caught and getting back up immediately.

You sound peppery

So Yoel had him so close to death, why didn't he finish him?

(I had Yoel 48-47 btw 3 4 5)
