Were they given an unreal, dream opportunity to share the boxing ring with the best boxer of our era during their reign?

You do realize that like after this amount of time that excuse no longer holds water.

But you don't count after his fight with Floyd. You count after Nov 16.
You disregard Floyd fight and that's where your ignorance lies.

It's not an excuse and it holds water - he needs to recover from concussions and is probably still reeling a bit. Concussions last a LOT longer than people think they do, and "tough guy" fighters aren't trying to admit they wake up in the middle of the night with cold sweats wondering where they're at, who they are, what they're doing.... or, that they just collapse in the shower for no reason, or that they have other lapses that would freak a person out. They don't talk about it, because it isn't what "gruff manliness" is made of. And, Conor doesn't want to fight for bones again, he wants to fight for real money, and possibly co-promote his own fights. He doesn't need UFC, he can probably make more money holding his own MMA event, with himself in the main fight, like what Mayweather does. I think that's his end goal - to escape the UFC's contractual nature, and be his own boss entirely.

Insane how DJ has as many title defences as all 12 other champions combined.

that was august 26th of 2017. we are in januari 2018 and still no fight announced so your excuse is not valid imo.

TS bragging about november 2016, not August 2017.

Not that much time passed since August. November 2016 doesn't matter and doesn't count.

What does that have to do with anything? It's been 14 months. This whole boxing work with Floyd is a lame excuse that's worn out.

But, by all means... please continue to support a fighter who won't fight.

We get it dude, but nobody gives a shit. You really can’t hate on him for going for a huge payday with this Floyd shit. And we all know why he is sitting out now.

We’ve known forever he a maximum reward minimum risk kind of guy.

He’s sitting out now so that Khabib and Tony fight each other and he fights the winner only.

If he came back now, he’d be expected to fight Tony THEN Khabib.

Hey, he'll defend his FW belt! Just give him time, he just won it a few months ago!

Wait...we talking about the LW belt now? Sheeeettt.

You call it an excuse.
MMA fighters call it a dream

Luckily , they don't care what you think
The dream is long over but where is you're Chicken? Still chasing pipe dreams, It is an excuse any way you look at it.

Chasing bigger payout and, as usual, will get it. You cannot understand this concept.
And it is not "long" over, August 2-17 was not that long ago
