Well tbh anyone would keep Matt Serra as a friend just to be constantly reminded of how lucky they are they came out normal height.

I like Matt Serra for finishing GSP, Matt by way of beating the young fighter in such a humiliating fashion, inadvertently helped shape MMA history. The lose and was incredibly embarrassing on so many levels. To get smashed in that fashion by a bloated LW, nevermind tappIng to strikes like a jobber, literally looking helpless to the referee for rescue. The circumstance drove an absolutely ashamed GSP to come back with a vengeance, this would result not only reclaiming the title, but becoming the top WW eva, not to mention eventually a 2 division champ, additionally the GOATiest of GOATs...

Dana has never liked GSP and roasted him in the media for many many years.

I think it’s something they bonded over.
