I just realized that the fighters that zuffa insanely hyped up don't even live up to it besides jones in recent memory look at Ronda sage pvz Brock kimbo lol the UFC is trash when it comes to hyping fighters they hype the wrong ones and ignore most of its highly skilled fighters

What's your point, TS? You just woke up and felt like complaining like a little girl?

Brock and Ronda not living up to the hype? They each won championships and defended the belt, FFS. What more do you want? Champs lose, it happens in MMA. Getting there is still a huge accomplishment.

Conor has lived up to it so far but we'll see what happens in the future I honestly kinda think it's funny with these hype trains getting destroyed

Also, I think the general consensus is that Kimbo ended up being a better fighter than most people thought. He beat some decent fighters, including James Thompson and Houston Alexander.

Ronda and Brock sold million ppv buyrate cards. I thnk they served their purpose really well.

As for others Sage is 19, PVZ is 21 and Kimbo was tuf draw not a hype job.

I don't think some people realize how hard it is to be a champion in any weight class.

The fighters on your list have worked out just fine for them financially and losing a single fight doesn't crash anything. The conversation may have merrit if you didn;t have horrible examples.

TS is another little boy watching his super hero. Except most little boys grew up to become men. Not some overtly freakish person who would gladly pay for the honour of becoming Conor's personal living bidet.

Makes me wonder... if we were forced to use our real names on here. Would these clowns act the way they do ? It's rhetorical, because I'd put down a large chunk of cash down that these losers don't act this way in real life. Could you imagine the backlash. Even Conor would likely get creeped out by these weirdos. They'd be the pariah of the workplace. The guy that all the girls would earn eachother about.

    It really is fucked up.

They have had their success but I think there are or were more skilled fighters that should have received more hype like RDA for instance the guy is on his way to becoming the lw goat but he never gets hyped up

Kimbo headlined cards on CBS that drew over 4.5 million viewers. If anything, the UFC de-hyped him.

The UFC's ability to hype fighters and make them stars is vastly overrated. Brock was a star already from another sport. Ronda is was a star before she got to the UFC, made them create a division for her and did most everything to create and grow the "Ronda Rousey Phenomenon" herself. Conor is a star because he's an entertaining and compelling persona - as well as being great in the cage. No amount of "Zuffa hype" is going to make anybody care about Rafael Dos Anjos - except within the context of him fighting McGregor.

Hype train is good for the sports and for the wallets. Get over it.

You know using former champs as overhyped fighters makes you look retarded right?
