The WWE President Had To Step In And Save Dana's Boxing Dreams

He knows the business

Nick Kahn just doing his job both together they are doing TKO boxing. And as Eddie Hearn said H.E. Turki Alalshikh likes being in control and Dana is used to being in control so only to be expected. Dana knows how to bend he just forgot. TKO owned by Silver Lake a bunch of rich kids most got their money from the Technology sector. But known to slim down the companies to make them more cash efficient (cheap) glad TKO Boxing is being paid by HE Turki but still Cheap TKO will lead, so I looking forward to another reality show to kick this off. The 4 big fights they do every year will have real top fighters where they will need to pay up.

Dana took nothing and made it into something, good for him. He got guys with no options to fight for him for cheap, and made a billion off their backs.

But boxing is already great. Does Dana think he is going to take a boxer that makes 15 million a fight and make fun of him, lie about him, then make him sign for 5ok? One of those guys would crack him in his bald head.

Cause Dana was fucking everything up, as usual

So now, not only is Nick Kahn cleaning up Vince McMahon's mess but he's also being forced to wipe Uncle Dana's ass, wont be long til Big Nick is running the whole dang operation and Dana ends up on the trash heap, just like ole Vince Jr did

How was Dana fucking it up?

The issue with this boxing takeover is that Turki - the power player and the money man - seems a little erratic. His alleged behaviour towards a female Netflix executive almost killed the whole project. Turki is seemingly pretty volatile. and I'm sceptical that Dana - also volcanic, but also someone who knows how to build a consistent project - would want to be deep in business with him. We'll see, I guess.

you're also describing boxing

Indeed. Boxing may be dying in the US. Nobody has wanted to broadcast it, the major networks have exited the sport, there is no structure, frankly there is no reliable or consistent product even in existence (why commit to broadcasting something where the best don't fight the best every time?), and the most "exciting" bits of boxing of late have been celebrity/influencer boxing plus bare knuckle fighting.

All of this is indicative of a sport that is in very deep trouble.

Netflix are dipping their toe into the water here but that is a very long way away from actually committing to the sport multiple times per month like UFC . And what, exactly, would they be committing to? There is no product that you can bank on, just whatever you can negotiate event to even with fighters and promoters. If you can't bank on it, there is no incentive to invest, build, and market.

Boxing is a terrible investment in its current form.
