The WW threshold before GSP

Diaz, Condit, Ellenberger, Kampmann, Diaz, MacDonald are roughly all around the same skill level.

Each guy can beat the other on any given and they have.

It's clear GSP is just head and shoulders above all of them.

What do you think the UFC should do?

I like the Anderson GSP fight. They did it with BJ and GSP, but UFC has dangled Spider GSP in front of our noses for so long that it doesn't seem it will ever happen.

What is UFC going to do with GSP?

It's clear Big Rig is the number 1 contender, and Rory Ellenberger are in there somewhere, but it's also clear that GSP is just way ahead of the competition.

I'm just looking for opinions...maybe have GSP move to MW and Anderson at WW?

There is nothing wrong with having a dominant champion, and GSP has at least two more fights left that are intriguing - Hendricks and then Ellenberger, MacDonald, Maia, or Lawler, so yeah.

You act like it's a problem if a champ holds the belt that long. As long as GSP keep getting good and new challengers, I don't see a problem with it. He is in the division that he feels he does best at. Hendricks should be a good challenge and guys like Ellenberger and even Rory (if he would be okay with it) are there after that.

Agreed with the outstrike the hell out of Maia.

Ellenberger, Rory and Hendricks are on about the same level.

They can beat GSP, but the odds are heavily in Georges favor.

I haven't been really stoked for a GSP fight in a long time because the people he's matched up with, he would just dominate the hell out of.

There has to be a better alternative.

If we can't get Anderson GSP, then maybe GSP Vitor? Georges vs. Sonnen?

Completely agreed. I also honestly think DHK can beat GSP after watching him fight Nick last night...

Nick is one of the best boxers in MMA.

He had nothing in the stand up.

At which point did GSP look beatable? When he was rocked? Dropped?

You can hate the guy if you want, but he looked as dominant as he ever has.

That's why it would be awesome to see him go up to new challenges and fight someone like Sonnen.
