As much as I dislike Anne cullter she said something about t-shirts costing 3 instead of 9 bucks has costs. And corporations couldn't wait to save a few bucks and not worry about labor and environmental laws, so they moved to China as hard as they could

Some "liberals" on this forum, who have a phd in Economies for Dummies, say its better with keep this way and just tax corporations and distribute the money.

What does that sound? Yeah socialism, everyone earning the same and living happy.

As long as politics align libs have no problem exploring cheap communist labour.

Big time. I think globalization is inevitable, but the left has really pushed and rushed it far too fast and hard. I think if it was done slowly and responsibly it would be celebrated.
As a small example, the EU. They rushed it and added countries like Lithuania to it. Now Lithuanians are going to Europe and riving down wages while depopulation is rampant in Lithuania. This benefits only the wealthy and the elite. The EU if down properly and all that would have allowed out of work Italians into Germany in far greater numbers and earlier. Yet that was slow and a trickle. It's shows how poor integration if the economies has progressed. Basically Germany gets a free common market as things stand, at the expense of basically every non north western nation

One silver lining about Wuhan virus that I hope we see real serious blowback against neoliberism and globalisation. I am not against globalisation per see, just some apects of it.

Man, this some of your best work.
I'm torn.

They're both religious in nature even if the CCP claims to be secular. Or rather the ruling class of SA is about as devout behind close doors as the Chinese ruling class is secular in public. Sure the Chinese government doesn't phrase it that way, but cries of heresy and criticism of the state religion will net the same results in both places.

Both leadership's are actively working towards influencing global affairs. One by exporting wahabbi mosques and manipulating oil markets, the other via economic pressures, bullying and social media.

Communism has never built a long standing prosperous society and we all know Islam leads to suppression of everyone. Both systems lead to stagnation.

Neither one tolerates minorities of any kind well. Whether you're a dhimmi taxed for the privilege of existing in their society or tossed into reeducation camps you'll not enjoy freedoms in either place.

At the end of the day they're both repressive, authoritarian shit holes that we built with our greed and know-how.

Neither the WuFlu or 9/11 are their firsts not likely to be their last examples of craziness.

So which one would be easier to "deal" with, if it came down to it, in a final solution type of sense? Threat assessment on case of retaliation should be part of this discussion as well, I suppose...

One is a nuclear power with allies as well as a global community of expats, some of which they could mobilize. The other is the seat of power of the most violent religion currently gracing our planet with over 1.7 billion members.

So it's a draw? They both suck. I've said it numerous times that the hammer & sickle, swastika and star & crescent represent the three worst ideas ever devised by man. And all 3 are equally bad in my eyes.

Yay for authoritarian ideologies cemented in dogma!

Just from personal experience, the Saudis by a landslide. Will never go back to that shithole.

I did wonder when I saw someone tagged me in here

I dont know why there is a decent medium. Between Bernie, whom I feel was going to shift responsibility too far away from citizens. I understood his POV, but feel its too extreme. While the Dems had good intentions with things like Dodd Frank. That in the end just incentivized large banks to get bigger.
I know we will get to a one world govt, I just dont want to get there via a police state and being forced to.

I don't know about that, but it's definitely one of my most verbose.

Yeah, but it's completely in your wheelhouse to do cross comparisons of evil ideologies and regimes like that. I'm not in the right frame of mind for it right now, but this is a thread I had wanted to start.

Tell me more.

Read the OP.

China's single party runs an authoritarian surveillance state that imprints Han supremacist ideology on its populace and wields total control over bureaucracy, commerce, education and media. It has over a million ethnic/religious minorities in concentration camps, is invested in organ harvesting and wildly irresponsible human gene editing experiments. An empire of IP and trade secret theft that costs the US economy up to $600 billion a year.

It just screams of US victimhood as if it's China's fault that the US wanted to live beyond its means. It'd be very easy to write a similar blurb about the US emphasizing the sensational and negative aspects of US militarism and society. If that was written you'd naturally rave that this is unrepresentative and only focusses on the negative.

The question should be: who do you fear and why?

I'm not a fan of China's political system but for the average Chinese the above doesn't really factor when they look at their quality of life. Over the course of 70 years or so China has gone from a backwater to the second most powerful country in the world bringing 100's of millions out of poverty. They are now world leaders in many advanced technologies, and will probably lead the next generation as well.

My vote is Saudi Arabia. No other country has done more to spread a regressive ideology (Wahhabism / Salafism) that is so destructive to society.

China is just a potential peer competitor to the US, and is now being built up as the red peril. It's a dangerous inflection point as the US is trying to act to stop China from pushing past their dependence on the US. This could overspill as they rub up against each other: whether it's China and Taiwan; or the US and Iran.

Saud. Because of their export of extremist wahhibst Islamic ideology while having the US as their lapdog.

Something happened to me arround 2002 and like since then I have this fantassy that a rich Chinese girl would date me in shanghai..

Or time travel to ming Dynasy china and fuck Court musicians.

The House of Saud are in large part a threat because of American support. The CCP does not need American support to thrive , unlike MBS.

MBS gives me more willies than Xi. But I think it's only because MBS actually buddies around with Jared Kushner.

china is going to lead the world to an Extinction level event or financial ruin globally we could easily defeat the saudis in war because of their military incompetence or by just not using fossil fuels.

chi-ner would destroy the world if we went to war with them even if we win and they would not care about the damage to the planet because they value human life very little.

THE WORST? Seeing the development Russia is the worst. China has been an aggressor only locally. Saudi Arabia, I don"t give a fuck about it. Is it even on the map?

The capitalists aren"t perfect, but imagine Russian Communist "corporatists". Ha-ha-ha!

Believe me Russia is the worst, it is trying to reach Balts and Romania, Moldova is kind of lost now by Romania in favor of the Russians. Serbia is very pro-Russia and China.

Only a matter of time when Putin will re-create the Soviet Union and its Eastern Bloc. From whole Eastern Europe at some moment, only Romania was both liberal as government and presidency. Of course the Polish hate the Russians, but all from the former Eastern Bloc can be ruled by Putin. Including Romania because it"s not isolated near Germany like Poland. Imagine CZECH REPUBLIC, Czech Republic and not only Slovakia, has Russian sympathies! The most developed from the former Eastern Bloc.

Not to mention the Hungarian leader Viktor Orban revealed a map with Great Hungary, aka AUSTRIAN-HUNGARIAN EMPIRE, including not just Romania, Serbia and Slovakia, but also Croatia and Slovenia now. That Orban could start a war with Putin.

You are a Russian troll.

Russia has big influence in Ukraine now, not letting Ukraine to be lost for EU, Belarus, Hungary, Serbia and Moldova. Do you understand the treat or not? He is re-creating the Soviet Union plus umbrella, this is a cold war again.

"Greater Hungary" predates A-H by some 500 years. You should know this. Croatia had sovereign status (personal union) in that kingdom for hundreds of years and that's why they see themselves as apart from the rest of former Yugoslavia.

While the idea of Great Hungary is absolutely idiotic and long gone, let's not try to rewrite history.
