Since the March 25 interview, new evidence has emerged that seems to corroborate Reade’s story: her mother called into Larry King’s radio show about the incident in 1993, and her brother, a friend, and a neighbor all recall being told the story by Reade. Nonetheless, despite making multiple media appearances in the month since the allegation, Biden has not addressed Reade’s claim directly, though his spokespeople have denied it on his behalf. We had several months of Democrats and liberals telling the whole world that Kavanaugh was a rapist and if you didn't automatically believe every word Christine Blasey Ford was saying then you were some sort of rape supporting monster. Oh how times change.

Like I said in another thread, even if these people knew 100% for certain that Biden was a rapist and Kavanaugh was innocent, they would still happily see Kavanaugh punished and Biden go free. This was never about supporting women and victims of sexual assault.

Wow. Some of those comments are pretty damning, demanding action (IE - voting against) because of the accusation, when the action these figures are now taking is endorsement and "I believe him." Even if Trump stays consistent on his mellow treatment on this, this is going to show the lie to a lot of Democratic rhetoric around victims of sexual assault.

I wonder where all of these attitudes went?

Actually, anyone rational would understand that remembering the exact details of events from 5 years ago is difficult, let alone 40, yet potentially, if someone does have a strong memory of an event from 40 years ago it would likely be the victim of a traumatic sexual assault.

— In April 2019 Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) prepared several criminal referrals on, among other things, the FBI’s purposeful tanking of the Hillary probe. Disposition: Unknown.

— In May 2019, a group of House Republicans sent a criminal referral to DoJ for Nellie Ohr, wife of Justice Department official Bruce Ohr, over her role in Spygate. Meanwhile, fired FBI Director James Comey has also been let off the hook for allegedly lying to federal investigators…by Barr.

And while several other FBI operatives have been fired over their involvement in Spygate, Bruce Ohr remains at DoJ and nobody has been charged with any crimes that include lying to Congress and federal agents, defrauding the FISA Court, and literally plotting to overthrow a duly elected president.
