The Winter Soldier vs The Predator

Here's the scenario. In Predator 1, instead of Carl Weathers and that Army General dropping Arnold and his team into the jungle, Hydra drops in The Winter Soldier by himself. This is the WS from Captain America: The Winter Soldier.... the badass WS. And this is the predator from Predator 1....the badass predator.

WS finds the camp, destroys everything and everyone in it, and the Predator takes notice. And the hunt is on.

Who takes it?

This is what I was thinking. Arnold beat predator, and he wasn't enhanced with super speed, super reflexes, enhanced healing and a bionic arm that can rip a door off a car. Not to mention WS would likely have an array of weapons with him and he'd be outstanding with all of them.

But Arnold did have an entire team with him. WS would be alone.

And if it came down to hand to hand it's still interesting. I want to say WS would rip predator apart, but WS grabbed ahold of Cap's neck and didn't hurt Cap too bad. Is Predator as strong as Cap? Possibly. idk

Yeah, but I'd imagine it's incredibly hard, even for the predator, to sneak up on WS. Even while invisible, it seems like WS would be super aware of everything in his surroundings. But idk

Predator via element of surprise via invisibility and shooting lasers from shoulders and shit.

Arnold was lucky he was in a group and there were other options for the Predator to kill first.

WS would be incredibly hard to hit though. Even if he didn't know the shot was coming, once he heard that POP from the canon being fired, WS would evade immediately. And he's super fast. Not to mention enhanced healing factor. And Arnold took a shoulder canon shot to the arm and it didn't damage him too much.

Predator would win. He has way more weapons to use than the Winter Soldier. Remember how the Aliens were killed? The 'net' and the 'spinning' blade. Also, that miniature cannon on his shoulder. But I do like the WS. The actor was in town a few months ago doing a public forum interview.

Depends on how cheap the Predator feels like being. He could just decloak and snipe Bucky with zero warning.

I guess he could get cocky and try to face him hand to hand, in which case I'm betting on WS. But that would be dumb, and in the Predator movies I acknowledge, he is anything but dumb.

I guess I considered the Predator's code of honour to be the reason he made inadvisable moves.

It just seems unlikely that any species that masted projected energy weapons and interplanetary travel couldn't outsmart a shaved ape.

Well I look at it this way

The Yautja need to be looked at as individuals. They each have different personalities and intelligence level

So you are going to have your smart ones and your average ones. The smart ones are probably not going to be the hunters(Predators). The brute average ones are going to be the Predators you see in the movies

Predator took all his weapons off in that swamp scene right before they went vale tudo.

They're actually pretty smart as you can see more in the sequel and AVP. But I agree the one in the first film did seem kinda stupid a few times. Maybe that's why he's just running around in the jungle hanging skeletons in trees instead of traveling around the universe hunting aliens. Maybe the one in the first film was a retard predator. Probably crashed his ship in the jungle by accident.
