14-2
Fought in the UFC from his third professional fight onward
2x HW champ
Avenged his first loss twice a la GSP. But unlike GSP's, Cain's first loss was flukey.
Big Nog, Brock, JDS x 2, Bigfoot x 2, Rothwell, Browne, etc.
He would have beaten Werdum next week
Had he not been injured so many times, it's fair to say he would have a record of 20+ wins at this point.
Had he beaten Stipe, he would have been a 3 time HW champ. If he subsequently defended the title two more times, he would break the HW defense record. Four more times to break the HW consecutive defense record.
It's s shame.
EDIT: If long layoffs/injury-prone Cain achieved so much imagine what a healthy Cain could have achieved? Or are we to believe that a healthy Cain would have done worse than a non-healthy Cain?
