Ever since USADA I have a few things:

Gas tanks are running out fast, where we used to have relentless monsters for heavyweights in the PRIDE days, now we see many fighting at a much slower pace, or gassing hard.

Endlessly spamming takedowns, flashy kicks, jumping attacks and gruelling fights are all wearing people down faster. People are starting to look human again. Do you guys miss the mexican supplements?

I completely agree. Fights are obviously better when the fighters are on steroids but they wanted to legitimize the sport. With USADA the UFC is one of the cleanest sports leagues and it doesn't exactly have a pool of the best athletes on earth so you get some shitty performances now.

PEDs can do a lot of things other than merely make fighters put on muscle mass. Their greatest benefits are for recovery.

The HWs looked worse since USADA. But this shouldn't be a surprise. Reem basically showed you how much PED can help you at HW where power reigns supreme.

I miss undersized HWs like Randy and Cormier...it was awesome to see them slay giants with the grind.

It was funny watching Randy v. Brock in hindsight. Brock was gigantic compared to little Randy.

The top Pride HWs would be small compared to the "new breed" like Carwin, Rogers, Lesnar and Uber Reem. In shape Kharitonov, Doom, Nog, Fedor Cop, etc. were around 230-240ish. Even Barnett and Alexander weren't that big.

Anyway, this is what true men / athletes are supposed to look like. Idc who you are, if you get a NFL guy and put him under USADA and NSAC testing and have him fight clean he'd gas and get TKOd much faster. Sherdoggers can claim its bad cardio all they want but that just shows their lack of experience and training. Fighting isn't just about cardio. These guys are doing damage. Its not like ball sports where you can play the next day. These guys have to go in there with nagging injuries and if they look bad they have to wait months before they redeem themselves.

Im just ranting but i do truly believe MMA has the best athletes for MMA. Would i like to see PEDs in MMA? Yes and no. Let them juice in Japan but keep it clean here. Variety is good. If they let one guy roid (Lesnar) then let them all roid if not then keep it clean.

Again, im just ranting and my post probably didn't make sense. Im going to sleep trollol

Fine, but Coleman and Kerr had extreme problems with the gas tank at times.

Yeah. Reem always had the skill to go with it, which is why he's one of the very few HW that still look good post USADA (the rest have noticeably declined besides Stipe, both in terms of physique and gas tank)

I don't remember those relentless monsters you are talking about, not in Pride nor in the UFC pre-USADA.

I watch the sport to find out who's the best fighter, not who's got the best steroid doctor money can buy.

probably because 99.9% of people can't be 250lbs+, lean & athletic without steroids. So naturally with USADA, heavyweights are going to start to look more like Derrick Lewis than Ubereem.

To me it seems USADA regulates which PED's they allow. There are many supplements that enhance performance, it's just to what degree and if they will be allowed. Creatine enhances just not as much as TRT or roids.
