Make the Aldo rematch, thats where the money is and thats a far easier fight for him. Forget whats fair.....they have to look after their biggest star and 2 losses in row can make him really lose his star power. This defeat you can say when he went 2 divisions up and just came short. But if Frankie takes him down and dominates him on the ground. Conor is pretty much done
 
At the post fight presser someone asked if Connie wanted Aldo or Edgar. Connie paused for like a full minute thinking about it... "well I already beat Aldo and think I can do it again, Frankie deserves the title shot but he'll beat the every loving christ out of me" then he says "I don't know, I'll let the fans decide."

If he fights Edgar, I think he'll retire after. He said he wanted to make some money then get out, and 2 losses in a row will be the queue to exit.
 
i say edgar. just to finally shut everything up, win or lose.

he has a loss, now he should go all in. 'cause if he beats aldo again, we'll have to listen to ducking edgar for the best part of the year
 
He loses to either so it doesn't matter.
 
I don't see Frankie troubling Conor, Aldo is most definitely a harder fight.
 
I agree with you TS. Style wise, it's a winnable fight for Frankie if he uses his wrestling. If he tries to stand though, I can see him going out.
 
If Frankie gets caught in the first round like he did against Maynard he won't recover against McGregor
He will go to sleep
 
well first of all, idk how they are going to trust aldo anymore, after countless time he has pull out.

just imagine, you try to sell the first Aldo vs Mac fight, and he pull out, and when they fight, Conor Ko'ed him in 13 seconds.

how do you think they are going to promote this fight the third times, especially with the possibility of aldo pulling out.

Edgar vs Mac is the fight to make, you can make Holloway vs Aldo for the 1 contender.
 
You are right. And that is why we are going to either see Conor vs Aldo 2 .... or we are going to see Aldo pull out close to fight time and have some hand picked opponent take his place.

If Conor gets the win he challenges Diaz for a re-match at 155lbs and it gets set up. Putting Edgar on the waiting list yet again. Once Conor loses to Diaz again Conor goes back down and loses his belt to Edgar.
 
Frankie's a terrible matchup for Conor, but that's the correct fight to make. What's funny is I don't think Frankie would beat Aldo in a rematch, and Conor probably beats Aldo in a rematch, so those 3 guys might just keep playing hot potato with the belt.
 
I think Frankie has the speed, movement and the chin to get past the first round. I think he can frustrate Conor with his speed. I also think Frankie has the takedowns to keep Conor hesitant.

I believe if Frankie can secure a takedown early, then he makes Conor uncomfortable and that later in the fight he can then do what he wants on the ground.

I think Frankie is a very tough fight for Conor and I believe Frankie can beat him.

Frankie is a former LW champion and he is someone you never count out. Not an easy fight for anyone.

Edgar will destroy conor. Conor will never stop frankie from taking him down, and we just saw his ground knowledge this weekend.
 
frankie deserves it. conor just ko'd aldo in 13 seconds. frankie has been on a roll a DESERVES a title shot. furthermore, he'll plant conor on his back and beat him into oblivion... but this fight isn't as marketable as a aldo rematch. especially since aldo has started talking crap about conor and conor has noticed/responded.
 
I would give it to Frankie just to make Aldo cry more.
 
So people are openly just accepting this is no longer a sport and talent and wins mean nothing anymore?
 
The blueprint is there to beat McQuickTap. Take his ass down, watch him gas as his nervous energy creeps in and put your arm around his neck and wait 4 seconds.

any of the shots Conor hit nate with in the 1st round would have KO'd Edgar

and add 4+ inches of reach advantage and the fact Edgar would be the shorter fighter moving forward and Conor would be punching downward

Lol what makes you so sure? I keep hearing this and reading this and it's just pure speculation. Know how many times Nate has been TKO'd? 1
Wanna know how many times Edgar has been TKO'D? That would be 0. 1>0 last I checked.

If this is so true how come Conor, Irish Edmund, and DFW have been avoiding this fight like the plague or something. Frankie is a nightmare for McGregor and they are smart enough, unlike many others, to realize that.
