This Twitter nonsense is getting out of control, I enjoy watching the UFC fight but that's it. I don't care about their personal problems, family, opinon on things non-fight related. I remember the days of Tank Abbott and Royce Gracie, they didn't need nor care about anything other than fighting.

Maybe the more well payed guys. But I doubt Jobber McJobberson with a 3-12-3 record has a publicity team working for him.

TS spends his day on Twitter then comes here to vent against Twitter. Like the first reply said, just close your twitter account and refuse to read embedded tweets.

That will teach them a lesson!

Do you think millionaires like the Diaz brothers use a publicity team?

Guys who are struggling to pay their manager or coaches, sure. But people are legit stupid if they think Conor McGregor is on twitter all day beefing with people lol.

While this is obviously an extreme example, Mike Tyson doesn't even answer his own damn cell phone. He has a personal assistant who does all that shit for him. Any celebrity most likely doesn't answer their own cell phone to begin with. Otherwise they'd be on the phone all fucking day.

    You Ese!
I'm not a fan of Twitter or shit, but as long as they want to use those social sites...why the hell can't they? In the days of Tank and Royce...Twitter wasn't around. The internet alone was barely a "thing", so yeah. If Twitter was a thing back then, you bet your ass they would probably be all over it. It helps them gain exposure in ways the UFC doesn't/won't. It also allows them to do things that they enjoy, and you're dumb as shit if you think the "only" thing Royce and Tank cared about was fighting. You seriously think they didn't do anything else?

The UFC should ban fighters from using Twitter and force them all to create a sherdog account.

They actually encourage it, more social media to promote fights/fighters or start beefs are helpful

Fighters in general seem more down to earth than other noteworthy people like movie stars and singers. So even though it's blatantly obvious some accounts are managed by a PR team or even their trainers/managers, guys like the Diaz Bros probably run their own accounts. Same with most unpopular or low level fighters. (Bad grammar and more personal stuff are all hallmarks of being run by a fighter)

  15. Worst thread of the day. Congrats.

It actually is bad if they don't have a Twitter account. It's a way for celebrities to reach millions of fans........IDIOT!. All celebrities have Twitters so do all MMA fighters. I'm surprised used the Moderator let this comment even post.

UFC is the one who forced them in the first place to use twitter.
