The UFC let Mark Hunt fight for them five more times after he sued them

I honestly thought Markohanto was gonna be the first to walk up and hit Dana in the mouth
Like 15 years ago I bought a guitar straight from Japan. It was a Resoporo.

They let Lesnar and overeem get jacked on steroids vs him also. UFC Fighters safely is important obviously.

Well, brock had never failed a test before and only failed the tests just before the fight and the fight day test. UFC have complete plausible deniability on that one.

Not only that they can also say they pulled JBJ just days before his fight because he popped hot, and Brocks test never came back until afetr his fight took place. UFC would be cleared here had it been pressed further on that end.

Dude you think Mark Hunt wouldn’t have been like Fuck yeah He gets to punch Brock.
He was as would any Heavy ever (the Brock fight is the biggest money HW fight in mma) until he learned UFC purposely allowed Brock to roids to the gills

That’s an interesting one.

Is the UFC that starved for Heavyweights?

That’s like coming to work every day when you sue your boss for sexual harassment.
No, they agreed and felt bad for him, they just didn't want to pay him any money, so they let him fight out his contract and walk.

He's a massive star in his counrty. Even got a nice book deal over there.
Stop thinking the UFC does all these favors. They are a business.

Cowboy Cerrone joined some sort attempt to start a Fighters Union/Alliance.. it flopped, but still he fought for UFC many times after that as well. UFC doesnt automatically cut you if you voice some displeasure.. its a case by case basis
If you're still making them money, they tend to keep you on the roster.

On Sherdog everything is a personal beef between Dana White and whatever fighter we are discussing. But most of it is just business.

Just wanted to add my take on this, there's a couple of replies that elaborate on the issue but there was a little more to it than the lawsuit.

The fact is that Hunt fought 3 or 4 guys in a row who were confirmed drug cheats. He wasn't cheating but was taking more (physical) damage as a result of these guys juicing. So who is liable for your injuries when your opponent cheats? What happens if someone suffers a career ending injury to a drug cheat?

It's also pretty obvious that Hunt was setup to lose against Lesnar but this is where the speculation begins. Apparently Lesnar couldn't even make weight for the fight, ie. he was well over 265lb & the UFC covered this up. So not only was he roiding but cheating the weight limit too.

The UFC most have known Lesnar was on the juice because they'd been in discussion with him for a long time before he officially announced his return & they subsequently waived the drug testing protocol that every other fighter had to submit to.

There's actually more to this story than I've written but it's interesting that Hunt kept fighting even tho he was flaming the UFC.
