So the two guys who deserve a rematch (tj and condit) aren't getting one while Cain barao Ronda and weidman all get one lol fuckin Dana I love faber but there was no clear winner in tj vs Cruz and faber looked awful in his last fight. One thing I hate about UFC is that it lacks structure Dana tells ppl they get title shots then gives it to someone else like Holm over Tate and Conor over Tyron

135 weight class is hard to push and promote fights that are not title fights. Faber and cruz makes sense since they are 1-1, best way to market it is as a title fight. TJ could fight winner and either way it is a good storyline with marketing appeal.

Only potential issue is faber probably losses to cruz, then if tj rematches cruz and wins the belt back, there is no way they could give faber another shot at the title meaning the faber/tj rocky 4 marketing angle gets pushed on indefinite back burner.

Everything else, the less rules, the less logic, the less fairness - the better for them, as they have more freedom to rearrange things in a way that maximizes profit.
