Most of their current champions have no drawing power...... casuals have never even heard of some of them

Stipe Miocic
Eddie Alvarez
Demetrious Johnson
Amanda Nunes
Daniel Cormier (?)
Tyron Woodley
Dominick Cruz
Joanna Jajhdukebdzec (?)

Great fighters.. but not a star in sight. They NEED a certain contender or most people wouldn't care about their next defense.. as for Conor and Bisping, they may lose their next title fight.


Summary: SHITTY MAIN EVENTS UPCOMING
 
Cain should beat Miocic.
Cormier is OK. Or maybe Alexander.
Rockhold, Weidman, Jacaré or Mousasi would take Bisping's belt asap.
Wonderboy should/must beat Woodley.
Khabib and RDA could take Eddie's belt.
Valentina and/or Ronda would be better champs than Nunez.
 
Stipe has a lot of drawing power overseas... He's also an exciting fighter who's young... Once he fights Overeem, and potentially Cain, he will have good drawing power...
Eddie isn't well known, but neither was Dos Anjos.. Until Nate/Conor wins the belt (which it looks like he won't make 155 again, and Conor isn't good enough) nobody is gonna have great drawing power at LW...
DJ is a victim of his own quiet personality and low weight class...
Nunes could have serious drawing power in Brazil... A fighter with her and Ronda would boost her drawing power huge the same way Holm was suddenly popular..
Yeah LHW is a wreck, but Cormier is semi-well known...
Woodley could have drawing power if he says some more stupid shyt
Cruz is gaining in popularity.. a rematch with TJ and a possible Edgar fight would both give good PPVs
Joanna could be a big deal soon, and already has her home country behind her..

Also, most of who you named are new champs.. With the exception of Conor.. nobody, even Ronda, was a huge draw from day 1... whenever you have quick belt changes the champ is never that popular

They are in trouble because Rounda, Bones, Brock, and GSP won't be fighting anytime soon

Joanna will never catch on with the ridiculous name. She should consider changing it for marketing purposes.
 
UFC won't be in trouble for a very long time. It's only in trouble from the perspective of loser fair weather fans. The same morons that boo in the crowd when there isn't constant brawling going on.

I agree. The UFC is too competitive for it's own good. Conor won't be anything special, Ronda is done as far as I'm Concerned, Bones is done, the belts will continue to passed around. Meh....
 
Well, they're definitely a little short of star champs right now, but those things can change fairly quickly.
 
Look another UFC is going to fail thread. We've never seen these before... year after year after year after...
