I completely forgot about the crowd chanting "UFC UFC UFC" until I watched Couture vs Toney again. My feels were a mix of lol'ing and facepalming.

What's the big deal? Let them enjoy themselves.

At the time Randy was the poster child of the UFC, and Toney was of boxing.

Not the equivalent of "traneing UFC".

well it was a UFC event

maybe if it was a Bellator event it would be bad

or way better

I chant "NBA!" every time I go to a basketball game. Is normal.

James Toney completely outsmarted the UFC and the fans who bought into the whole 'MMA vs Boxing' thing. James Toney was basically irrelevant in Boxing at the time the Couture fight was made and suckered Dana White into giving him a $500k purse. And that's not including endorsements, PPV or anything else.

wtf? recalling an old ass fight is just like bumping old threads

Look at those awesome fans! Represent! Drunk, loud, belligerent. Just the people I would like to sit next to at a venue.

He wasn't irrelevant. He was a top 10 HW. Take that bullshit out of here
