Anti-Semitism is often conflated with resistance to Israeli and the larger Zionist based politics that pervades the US and other nations outside of Israel largely due to lobbying by a foreign nation and people loyal to it.

It's an effective political strategy to deliberately conflate the two in order to advance political agendas because people are programmed to recoil.

Depends on demographics.

A lot of people hate Israel because they are jewish (muslims mainly), a lot of them hate them because of the illegal occupation.

I would say that anti-zionism is certainly antisemitic if you deny Israel right to exist, being against the illegal occupation but recognizing the right of Israel to exist, is not antisemitic.
