Considering all the fights this weekend. There are only a few that really move the needle for me.

I picked Ngannou vs Cain.

Cain vs Ngannou has my vote.

Big Country vs Mirko is a very close second tho.

With Whittaker out, Kelvin deserving, and Israel being promised shit what da fuck do they do now??
Have Israel fight Weidman or Jacare, wait for Whittaker to fight Kelvin's fat ass but if Costa beats Yoel he gets the shot before either

MVP vs Daley easily wins.

Cain cant stay healthy and the Ford escort isnt well rounded

Vick-Felder. Meaningful match-up in a stacked division.

My reasons for skipping over the others:

Win or lose, Cain is done. Ngannou has no ground game.

Daley is done, as are Nelson and CroCop.

Minakov-Kongo is on paper a good fight, but I still remember how boring their first fight was.

The return of Cain for me. MVP vs Daley second, Vick vs Felder third.

Poll is up, asking which fight this weekend you are most excited to watch. Vote and chime in on the discussion tonight!

Other. Alexandra Albu vs. Emily Whitmire. This is likely to be a throwback WMMA fight with wild, non-stop high paced action. Albu is like the Diego Sanchez of WMMA.

* This Weekend, two of my personal fighters will be getting into the cage. Vincente Luque takes on Brian Barbarena in the UFC, and Brian Foster is battling over in Poland. Now, I know all the love that this podcast has for Rashad Evans and Mirko Cro Cop. But what are some of your more unknown personal favourite fighters? Guys or Gals who have never reached the title or the top-contender status, but are must-watch for Ant and Jason?

* Cain is back! Word online is that NASA's best mathematicians are currently trying to figure out for how long he has been gone. While we wait for those calculations, I just have to wonder, why are some fighters like Cain just so injury-prone and wear out so quickly? Meanwhile, Tito Ortiz is 44 years old and has had a two-decades-long career but is still remarkably healthy considering the circumstances. What is the X-factor? Is it just plain luck?

So. It appears that Mirko Crocop has reached his final form... how would a fight vs Bader go...

Think Cro Cop will stick around for more than one fight in Bellator, after he tries to get revenge against Roy?

Until a few weeks ago I prayed to the JBG that we would be blessed with a Fedor rematch. Now, I would pray for the safety of Fedor… But Mirko making another UFC run... I'll watch and with heavyweight so terrible could be about 2-3 wins from a title shot. Thinking Bellator is a great place for him and I have always liked the way Coker treats his fighters ( might not be good from a business stand point ) and a trashing of Nelson could catapult him to a fight vs Bader. Guess Saturday Night will be the tell - tell and will be watching and discussing with the Sherdog forum...

1. Kharitonov
2. CC vs Nelson
3. Congo Minakov
4. Cain Ngannou
Overall great weekend of HW fights.
Cain't wait

Don't get your hopes up too high.

Still tree days left.

Who do you favor Mike Perry vs. Lyman good?

Who do you favor Leon Edwards vs Curtis Millender?
I had to look up to make sure that you just made these matchups out of thin air, and that neither of them are happening.
Perry vs Good would be a banger, sounds entertaining enough.

Edwards beat #11 Cowboy last year, he shouldn't have to fight someone out of the rankings anymore. Millender is a great prospect but I don't know if he's ready for a top ten guy yet. Why not Edwards vs. Maia, Magny or the something like the loser of Lawler/Askren instead?

Daley/MVP...then the return of Cain and Minakov vs. Ngannou and Kongo. Actually I'd like to see Minakov/Ngannou and Cain/Kongo II as well. For that matter I hope Kongo gets a rematch with Mir in Bellator and fucks fatty up.
