If he rematches Eddie he'll probably get finished again. But realistically speaking he has to earn another title shot and that could take an year depending on how many people there are in line. In the worst case scenario if Khabib is healthy, he will be the champion at that time. He is the worst match up for Dos Anjos and WILL beat him again in my honest opinion.

Dos Anjos is a very skilled fighter but tends to be a bit 'chinny' similar to his teammate Werdum. - All of you Dos Anjos bandwagoners can claim that his chin is good etc. But he has been knocked out cold before and he got rocked badly by a regular punch tonight. If the referee would've ended the fight 10-15 seconds later i think that Dos Anjos would've went out cold. That being said he has improved his striking defense a lot which has made him get away with it in the past until getting caught.

That is all.

He touched the belt but could not hold it. It's normal.

People made it sound like he would dominate the division for years lol

Meh, you never know, it's easy to say that now. He looked insanely good last two fights, I would assume the same thing.

I was finally staring to buy into his hype after he ran through Cerrone but Eddie punched him back like 5 years

He has been knocked out only once in his whole career. And finished in general twice(once by an injury). Alvarez didn't even knock him down. Chinny?

imo he beats Alvarez in a rematch. He was doing good until he got caught.

Ugh....

People predict a lot of things, It really isn't impressive or anything to point that out now (After we saw him lose the title)

"People made it sound like Jones wasn't cheating lol"

"People made it sound like Aldo wasn't going to get KOd in EXACTLY 13 seconds.... How hard is it to see that coming lol"

See my point?

Well, by having been UFC champ, with one successful title defense, he's accomplished more than 99% of his peers.

So good on him.

Nah, it's more the matter of bad striking defense. Idk he always seems so hitable.

He looked bulletproof outside of the USADA testing era.

Werdum is very tough. He's not chinny at all. He's fought a ton of heavy hitters and has only been KO'd twice. This is HW we are talking about. Everyone has gotten slept. Even Roy Nelson has gotten KO'd twice.

Chinny really? the man that took Jeremy Stephens uppercut from hell and didn't go out is chinny Jesus mary and joseph I'd hate to see what you think of Arlovski.

That was no regular punch. it might've looked like that from the view behind alvarez, but if you saw the side view, he threw that cross with most of his weight behind it. there's probably a better gif of it somewhere, but here's a screenshot

i think RDA will definitely make another title run

Nonsense. The punch that rocked RDA would KO a horse. After that, he took (I didn´t count) maybe 20 heavy shots before the stoppage and he still wasn´t out. Took an impressive punishment and at no moment his lights went out.
Eddie won fair and square, but you are being delusional.

Renan Barao took similar uppercut from him and he wasn't out.
