The new owners have bought a promotion for 4 billion dollars which over the last year or two has lost it's....

1. The UFC's#1 ranked pound for pound fighter in Jones

2.The UFC's biggest draw ever in Brock Lesnar unless the findings are overturned due to a mistake

3. The UFC's biggeest women's MMA star in Rousey as well as either their third biggest draw. She may come back but who knows when and who knows if she'll ever be a good fighter again?

4. Their second biggest draw McGregor hasn't been ";most" but he did suffer a humiliating loss which tarnished his self-professed "notoriety" and now scheduled to fight the same man who beat him except unlike last time, Diaz won't be fighting on just 8 days notice!

USADA will be the ruination of The UFC unless The UFC completely dissassociates from it and starts doing their own testing.

Somewhere out in the desert, the Fertitas are having a party

Next to Conor's grave.

What an absolutely stupid time to buy The UFC! Especially for Four Billion Dollars!

I'm not even sure if buying the UFC made any more sense than Jim Crockett Promotions buying Bill Watts' UWF!

was the obvious choice to sell after 200, why carry on and lose money.

I wouldn't pay more than 2.7 billion.

UFC will continue to make money. The brand is bigger than the fighters. I promise you the new owners will come out ahead at the end.

I'm sure the new owners took all factors into consideration. Overall, the UFC has gained popularity abroad and had somewhat of a resurgence in the states. Jones has been out a while, Brock wasn't known as a UFC fighter.. Conor still has big PPV's at FW and with a few wins is fine. Womens MMA is steadily gaining in popularity and the divisions are as stacked as they have ever been. And Nick Diaz and Gsp will be returning soon.

They spend 4 billion dollars! Do you think they didn't do any research before they made the offer? I bet they knew jones was on roid before the sale

Once they appoint a new president, the UFC will be even bigger than before

I made this same thread last night and it was moved. What gives, mods?

Yeah people said all this when Chuck and GSP retired the doom and gloom remains but names why it's all over keep changing

Ali act is coming and they got out at right time. Plus $4 billion can buy you anything

They'll get a return on their investment but I think it will take much longer than they expected.

But yeah, beautiful timing for the sale
