I watched the original a long time ago ava enjoyed it. I thought this one was pretty good too overall, the concept of time travel is fascinating.

It was a fun time waster, nothing to really dog on it. Not the best movie not the worst. We will probably end up with a new one in the next 10 years.

The preview looked absolutely amazing when it first came out.
After watching and comparing it to other time traveling movies, it doesn't deserve to be in the top 10.
This movie had a very high budget, but there are some well done time traveling movies that had a budget less than half of this.

Maybe it’s just selective memory but I remember this movie being hyped like crazy. I was looking forward to it for what felt like forever as a kid and read the book first to get ready for the movie. After watching the movie I left pretty disappointed but I certainly remember lots of people talking and watching the movie.

I really like it. I've seen it a couple of times. I don't think Guy Pearce is a good actor though, maybe just average. I always notice him in the act of acting.

It was good, but they changed it from the book too much. The people were different.

The time lapse effects, and overall storyline of the movie were pretty decent. I would say 7/10, and worth checking out.

I should watch the original once again... i have seen it 20 times when i was 10 years. I haven't seen in twenty years, still remember it well though. I like the remake too.
