    Is this a joke? People actually liked that Mr.Ripley movie enough to remember it this far down the line?

    Great cast from a good book. Damon's acting was superb in the movie.

    Eh, as you like it. I think the results here will speak to this being like comparing Predator 1 to Predator 2.

    Granted, Good Will Hunting won a fair share of awards, The Talented Mr Ripley was also nominated. For the Golden Globe's, it was nominated for Best Motion Picture, Best Actor, Supporting Actor, Director and Original Score. It came away empty handed but I think it speaks volumes of how good of a movie it was.

    I personally liked Good Will Hunting just slightly because of Robin Williams' character. I think Damon was better in Ripley than Will.

    Mr Ripley was a good movie and Damon was superb in it. however Good Will Hunting was by far a better movie.
