This is a few days old but I couldn't find where it had been posted already.

The scatter plots really help illustrate

Highlights:
  • Khabib Nurmagomedov spends a lightweight division-leading 41 percent of the time in his fights on the mat controlling his opponent. That equates to more than one round in a three-round fight.
  • He averages the fewest significant strikes absorbed of any active lightweight.
  • Nurmagomedov has spent 87 percent of all his clinch time in control, and for 96 percent of all his time on the ground, he's been in control.

He's the best 55 I have ever watched perform. Stats only tell half the story tbh. He is an undefeated monster and I feel like 30-0 is just a formality at this point before he retires. Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong

Khabib the next GOAT from Russia.

If he ever fights Conor in Russia then they gotta book Minakov vs Stipe as the co-main. That would be batshit crazy.

Oh, and Aleks Emelianenko vs Ngannou just for fun.

I usually don't like MMA stats, but that's pretty cool.

Wish more of those dots had names

Thanks for sharing

Totaly agree

Thanks for sharing TS.

I feel Tony Ferguson's tenacity, conditioning and awkward style could have been the only thing to put Khabib in danger. Unfourtunately we might never be able to see that.

I am so sick of Khabib's nut hugging.

Hope Max knocks him the fuck out!
