Did it (the actual "workout"/challenge) once when we were doing a lot of conditioning challenges here. Definitely Crossfit-type shit. That shit did get me ripped, though it didn't really do jack for my actual cardio. Gave me a bit of "old man/retard strength" when needed. Compound movements, circuit training = heck of a workout. It's something to reach for, if your goal is to lower your time in the challenge, though I really see no point in buying a book all about it. All you need to do is to learn how to perform the exercises and to do them. For a training manual I wouldn't pick it over Ross Enamait's books any day, and definitely not over Joel Jamieson's as an MMA conditioning guide.
Besides, I can't bring myself to trust anything that promises someone to make him "action movie-ripped" in [a certain amount of time].
