The shots Conor landed on Nate would have KO'd Rafael Dos Anjos

The sheer stupidity of this argument rattles my fucking brain, and I see it posted all the time.

Dos Anjos would not have stood in front of Conor and allowed him to tee off for an entire round without exploiting that TDD. Nate took him down with a fucking single leg takedown. Has Nate ever landed another single leg takedown in his life? RDA is a nightmare matchup because he can grapple and he is not anywhere near as hittable as Nate in the stand up exchanges.

Like it or not, Nate was a fan-fucking-tastic matchup for Conor McGregor which is exactly why he got the fight.

He is one of the only guys who would stand right in front of Conor, block punches with his face, and keep the fight in the only realm of MMA where Conor is elite. Even so, he still took him out in under two rounds.

If Conor beats Edgar, then he can still be a champ in LW. Edgar is probably a more hard fight than RDA and Nate.

You do realize that Aldo is one of the only one punch KO's Conor had right? Siver went two rounds, Mendes went to rounds, neither of those guys are legendary chins (both have been KO'd a lot) and they still took over a dozen clean lefts each. Dos Anjos would have been more than fine.

Mendes only had been finished once before Conor and it was to a clean knee. He also fought in a very defensive way, this was the most defensive Mendes so far. Both guys did actually. Siver was only fighting to not be finished and Conor was trying to get a spinning kick KO the whole fight.

I don't think so, dude. RDA is very agressive. Conor striking looked really impressive in the start of the second round against Nate, his famous counter was connecting a lot of times. RDA would probably ate those since he is really agressive like I said. I don't think there is many things that makes someone think that RDA would be able to take those. Not saying Conor would win, but don't think RDA is one of those fighters like Nate that I mentioned before.
