The Running Man. I tried to watch Commando the other day. It is not even a good movie. I have no idea why people live that one so much.

Because if you saw it as a kid and haven't seen it since, it was absolutely amazing. Watch it now as an adult. Not so much.

Running man was awesome then and is awesome now.

These movies are genuinely my favourite two 80's action movies.

Sure, there are a bunch of others that are objectively better, but these both capture the 80's vibe perfectly.

I guess I slightly prefer Running Man, partly because it has a bit more plot going on, but mainly because I love the way that 80's movies depicted the future.

The future is frankly very disappointing compared to what we were promised in the 80's.
