What i feel from seeing all the complaining about the 200 cards is that the MMA community(even the hardcores) have indeed a storyline/drama WWE mentality.
I know people have been talking about this for a while, but this 200 debacle really puts things into perspective.
How in the world would people be complaining about card quality when you have dc vs jones, aldo vs edgar, plus meisha tate, cain vs travis, nate vs tba, etc etc ????
The reason is: no story lines, no drama, no wwe bullshit so far.
Of course there is jones x DC in there, but i feel like this has been beaten to death at this point and really there isnt anything these guys can do now that would top the pre-fight odyssey that was the first time they met.
So, although the fights are amazing and competitively they provide everything an mma fan could want, people are still mad about it.
I understand it though and i kinda feel the a bit of it too. Its disappointing. I feel like the fights have so much potential but are not going to reach the level of hype they deserved.
