He has to travel 6000 miles, sit in a Press conference, answer every single question cause no one else is articulate enough, and he is now like you know what , fuck that!
I think a mini world tour threw him off guard. He can't face Nate Diaz again a bit of shame and fear. Hes afraid to face him again, especially after talking all that shit and getting his ass kicked. This fight was scheduled entirely because Conor wanted it. Do you think he forgot they would have to do media?
I think the reason Conor doesn't wanna do a media tour with Nate Diaz is because he's afraid. You guys remember how Nate Diaz destroyed Conor mentally, before he destroyed him physically in the cage. Nate Diaz did something to Conor that no one was ever able to do before, beat him at his own mental game that he plays. Nate Diaz beat Conor at his own mind game before laying a finger on him. Now imagine Conor doing a world tour with a guy that beat him mentally at his own game without laying a finger him, knowing that Nate kicked his ass before. Imagine the kinda psychological advantage that Nate will have over Conor now. Conor was terrified of having to face Nate Diaz again in mental warfare especially knowing Nate kicked his ass already. Thoughts ?

Getting bitch slapped probably isn't the best thing for self-confidence.
Didn't Conor already do that too, While being from a different continent?Welcome to the big leagues
Real champs like gsp had to do that for years and actually defended their belts
Conor has not defended his beltDidn't Conor already do that too, While being from a different continent?
This is pretty much how I see it as well.He said before the Aldo fight that it was way too much work. He never got to rest and he couldn't train properly.
At the press conferences all the journalists were asking him how he does it. I don;t usually pay attention to the hype, but they were all so impressed with Conor's schedule. It sounded crazy.
Now he lost to Nate and in his head he's looking for excuses. I guarantee one of the conclusions he came to was, I'm doing too much media and not enough training.
Nate didn't own him at the press conference. Only the one part about his training partners compared to Conor's... and it couldn't have shook Conor that much because he's still training with the same people. If he believed Nate he probably would've done something about it by now.
