Tony made fun of Khabib's baby paws.

It's hard to believe there is such a dominant champion with crazy grappling skills and possibly #1 P4P in the world with tiny hands like that. It's pretty impressive.

How about because the belt had no reason to be brought there. It long ago served it's purpose and that's no more. Tony and Colby should leave those belts on their coffee table.
 
Tony's belt is trash, deserved to be kicked. Hoping DC is wrong about this fight being cancelled because of Coronavirus...

Tony was the interim champ before Khabib was the interim champ. And Tony never lost that belt, nor a match since he won it. Tony was also back in the cage within a year after his injury. So stripping Tony of his belt was BS. Khabib's defense of his belt after winning it was just about 4 weeks shorter than Tony's "defense" - just to get a comparison of the situation.

That might be why Khabib is salty about Tony bringing his belt.

I'm rooting for Tony - if by any chance that is not clear.

Khabib defended the belt 6 months after winning it.

Khabib fought the former LW champion to unify the belts and shed all doubt who the champion was.
Tony beat #7 ranked Kevin Lee.

If Tony fought Khabib before Conor, he would've had a chance to become the actual champion. Instead he tripped on a wire because he wore his sunglasses indoors. He has nobody to blame but himself.

You're right. My bad. Thanks for the correction. It was Khabib's second defense that took 11 months (against Dustin).

If the criticism is that Tony beat #7 for the belt, it was worst for Khabib who beat #10 for the belt (Al Iaquinta).

Tony beat all guys they put in front of him after that as well. You can't really blame Tony for not getting to fight Conor.

Even if you want to ignore Khabib's first belt with Raging Al, he still beat Conor for the belt then defended it afterwards. Everything Khabib has done makes him the clear champion. Tony has no such accolades.

And you can absolutely blame Tony for not previously fighting Khabib for the belt... it's completely and utterly on him lol. The fight was scheduled for the championship two years ago. That's why they had to bring in Raging Al to begin with.

He won it and never lost it, got stripped by bullshit UFC politics.
