I haven't seen anything on this yet but maybe the Karate peeps here will enjoy. I watched it on Netflix and really enjoyed it.
Documentary about Fumio Demura, 9th dan Shito-Ryu Karateka. Fumio is credited with being the first guy to bring humor into traditional karate demo's to appeal to an American audience. He wrote some great books on Karate and Okinawan weapons. He survived two life threatening illnesses and was most famously the stunt double for Pat Morita in the Karate Kid.
