The real best fighters for each division?

I've been looking at the divisions lately and I genuinely think that many of them do not have the best fighter as their champion.

Below is a list of my personal picks for the "best fight in that division" and what is meant by this is the guy who would/could the remainder of the division if given the opportunity.

Women's Strawweight - Joanna Jedrzejczyk
Women's Bantamweight - Amanda Nunes
Flyweight - Demetrious Johnson
Bantamweight - Dominick Cruz
Featherweight - Jose Aldo
Lightweight - Tony Ferguson
Welterweight - Tyron Woodley
Middleweight - Yoel Romero
Light Heavyweight - Anthony Johnson
Heavyweight - Cain Velasquez

I know what you're thinking, Jose Aldo over Conor! Ferguson over Alvarez/Nurmagomedov! Romero over Rockhold! Rumble over Jones and DC! - How could this be!?

I genuinely believe that those guys would beat majority of their division, more so than their opponents. I think Nunes would beat more opponents than Ronda, I think Aldo would beat more than McGregor, likewise with Ferguson who I think would beat Khabib and I have him beating RDA this weekend. Rumble is the really debatable one, but I really do think that he's going to put DC to sleep this time, and I would have him over this new sloppy, ring rusted Jones.

MMA is a strange sport, since styles dictate wins and losses when talent is more or less comparable.
For example, I think Thompson and Maia might be more talented and skilled than Woodley, but his style and roundedness makes me think he has a good chance against both, and pretty much anybody at WW not named Rory Mac (who again, is a nightmare style match)
Keeping that in mind

SW- JJ
BW- Rousey (I think she beats anyone not named Holly Holm)
FW- DJ
BW- Cruz (TJ is a better fighter, but I could see him getting caught by Lineker or Dodson)
FW- Jose
LW- Khabib
WW- Tyron
MW- Luke
LHW- Jones
HW- Cain

Yeah I'm not sold on Nunes being better overall than Ronda. I put her down because Ronda has gone through a lot and I don't know if she will be the same.

Yeah I think Stipe beats Cain by KO. And Werdum did. And Conor is fighting the best LW so if he wins then he is the best. I think Khabib is better than Ferguson.

Nunes beat Tate in more impressive fashion than Ronda did, and this is the best version of Miesha we've seen. Nunes beat Valentina also.
