Speaking of Jesus: Once, when my hair and beard were particularly long, I had an old lady tell me I looked like Jesus. That might be the strangest complement I've ever been given.
 
I apparently called a girl I went to high school with eleven times on Saturday night. I'm 99% sure she was with me at the time. Curious.

I'm thinking (hoping) we were trying to find her phone or something.

Given the part of the time period, and part of the world, if Jesus existed, it's quite possible he was either brown or black, and if not, he would be, as you say, tan. But Jesus, as he's typically depicted, is very white.
