I would like to psychologically break down what happened between Conor and Nate Diaz in the press conference.

Usually at these conferences they will ask fighters to pose in their stance for pictures. However for the first time in his life, Conor is standing in front of an opponent who is taller, bigger and has a longer reach then him. Conor is of a superficial mindset where image is important. If he would had posed with Nate Diaz, then he would had looked ridiculous because of the fact that he would had look much smaller standing next to Nate's much longer arms reaching towards him. It is like two animals showing off size to display their dominance with their alpha male instinct. The animal flexing the biggest will have an advantage on who can intimidate who. Conor is an alpha male and he did not want to come off looking funny in the picture looking like a weakling to be made fun off.

So in turn, Conor quickly reacts to this insecurity by hitting Nate's hand away. No picturre iis taken of them flexing.

Genius but yet....This action exposed Conor as being cautious and insecure of this fight because of how much bigger Nate is. Now Conor is laughing at how he may have hurt Nate's hand. This is his insecurity being projected.

It's basic dog psychology, brah. If you scare them, get them pissing down their leg, they submit... you control them. If you project weakness, you draw aggression... that's how people get hurt.

Fear causes hesitation, and hesitation will cause your worst fears to come true. You project strength to avoid conflict.

he fought Holloway and one big guy in CW, still beat both. Size means nothing for him and in last interview after face off Diaz sounded very hesitant about his chances

Can we get a running tally on the heavies page with the topic and how many times it has been done?

We could have a border around it, color coded with each color slowly progressing towards red, meaning "Instant ban, no questions asked".

I think it'd be a fine idea.

You know you are talking about a man who literally thinks he can beat the mountain in a fight right?

Dustin Porier is bigger than Conor as well....

Porier's reach is 72. Diaz's reach is 76. Big difference. I am talking about the posing of them in their stance. Conor did not want to look funny so he reacted. He already feels that Diaz's reach can be a threat to him which will affect his boxing.

Nate is gamed Mentally cuz his a thug and nothing is going to fly with him around. I'm of the opinion that most of conor's opponents were defeated before the fight started but not this time because it's totally different

Holloway's reach is 71. Diaz's reach is 76. Big difference. I am talking about the posing of them in their stance. Conor did not want to look funny so he reacted. He already feels that Diaz's reach can be a threat to him which will affect his boxing.

How can you claim to offer a 'psychological breakdown' - from a small piece of video evidence with which even an expert would find it hard to offer any sort of conclusive argument - when you don't even know the difference between 'then' and 'than'?

You asked me this question because you lack the intelligence to make an observation yourself, so therefore the only thing you can do is aim at a typo which came from me typing fast on my phone with my big thumbs.
