You heard it here first, book it for UFC 200 for the LW belt. Edgar is a beast and former LW champ, and probably still should be. Edgar keeps getting delayed his title shot and Dos Anjos needs an opponent. He will definitely be Dos Anjos' toughest test to date. I'm not saying he would win, but it would be one heck of a fight as I don't see Dos Anjos' out grappling him.

Who else agrees.

I'm not one of those that think RDA was too skurred to fight Conor but he did definitely not make it to the biggest fight in his career and part, if not all, of the blame is on him. I don't think that gets rewarded with a spot on 200.

After what he did to Pettis you think he was scared? The guy has his jaw crushed, trust me, he's not worried.

Frankie wants the "moneybelt". Lightweights are too big for him nowadays.

Truth is if Conor had to lose to someone better Nate than Rafael @155 it would not have been a merciful fight...

I don't think money motivates him as much as being the champ at any weight division. The
read it again, a little slower this time.

Haha, right, my bad. I just get hella irritated when people say that shit. But your right, it was his fault the fight didn't happen, but still, he doesn't have a history of pulling out of fights. I think he's going to be on the card regardless as the title fight options are slim due to upcoming events.

Conor has made you forget about what they call weight classes. Not everyone is comfortable not giving a fuck.

Frankie will keep on playing sitting duck until Conor goes back down.

Might headline MSG card.

not giving a pass to conor. He must face

I agree, but I don't think that fight is going to happen. If McGregor does move down, they will probably give Aldo the rematch (Which i'm fine with), which means that Edgar has to wait longer or take a fight with Holloway. Might as well reward his accomplishments if he isn't getting the title fight at 145.

I agree, but I think Edgar is a true once in a generation fighter. The guy hasn't lost convincingly (The Aldo fight was close) in his career and would be a top 3 LW right now.

Yes I also thought of this fight and I think it'd be awesome. I am all up for this, go Frankie.

Frankie is dead set on the FW title it seems.

IDK I think it the UFC offered him a title shot at 200 and it was either one of them he would rush it. If it were me though I would much rather face cloner at 45 then RDA at 55.

it bugs me too. Dude's a monster, afraid of nothing. I like that he's risen through the ranks after all this time. It'd be great if he was on 200 but I'm not sure Dana or the UFC would agree. That is a good point about the other titles though. You may be right.

I'm not sure you can blame RDA for missing that fight I mean shit happens. Could he have stopped training kicks at a certain point, I mean hell I guess so but what if that's his normal routine leading up to a fight? I think he really wanted to get busy with Cloner because of all the disrespectful shit he talked. Did you see when he fought Nate and Nate slapped him how mad he got lol. Remember when he slapped Nate back lmao

shit indeed happens. I do place at least a little of the blame on RDA. That had the potential to be the biggest matchup in modern MMA. He's at least a little to blame.

Shit mane I wanted that fight so bad. Not a cloner supporter at all, and if the fight went RDA's way cloner would have suffered an insufferable amount of damage because RDA had taken all that shit personally, least that's what I'd like to believe

Fair props to the guy. His hands, his wrestling and more than anything his fighting spirit are absolutely up there.
