I always felt bad about the boxing forum when I modded/adminned.

I respected the place, but I knew I couldn't mod it as admittedly I "don't know shit about boxing". So I stayed in my lane. It was really nice to have RR take it on. The whole thing bums me out.

Yeah, RR was great. He modded over in PWD as well, and was pretty active and helpful. Now we're down to one active mod in the boxing forum and one active mod in PWD. Not sure if it's enough tbh.

but what kind of beef would someone have with mods and the direction of the site, in terms of discussing boxing? Did he want to shitpost/troll all day and/or post porn? I remember him being a good poster in the boxing forum, but maybe he trolled the UFC forum?

Only problem I have really seen in the boxing subforum was the poster who was plagiarizing articles, or something. I don't remember those details, but remember at the time thinking "that's is pretty fucked". And I guess people were upset when McCoy was banned.

lol there was a giant OT/Plat war vs the mods a few years back and a series of competing offshoot websites got created. Had nothing to do with boxing. He got involved because RR was one of the people recruiting for the offshoots.

oh snap, that is pretty funny. You guys should make a photoshop comic about it, and called it Sherdogs Secret Wars. Similar to Marvel Secret Wars. You could even have side stories involving the various sub forums too, similar to how the Marvel event had tie ins.

That might be a waste of time tho.
