and then Retire for good.

That Conor vs GSP fight will probably be the highest ppv of all time for the UFC.

GSP is not going to fight Khabib or Tony, or Kevin Lee, he is not he already paid his dues he is about the money fight.

Freddie Roach and Firas even said that's the fight that makes the most sense for GSP at this stage in his career.

I think Conor vs GSP will do around 2.8 million ppv buys, depending on if GSP wins impressively against NAte.

why would he have to go through Nate first? He could fight anyone he wanted.

I think it’s to fight Khabib. GSP is going after a third belt. And the only thing that could possibly stop him is the cut. So, it makes sense to do a dry run.

GOAT.

Get back to me when there is any proof that this has changed:

“The fight with Nate Diaz doesn’t really interest me, because I beat Nick Diaz,” St-Pierre told host Ariel Helwani on Monday’s episode of The MMA Hour. “And logically, it’s not a risk worth taking for me, because if I beat Nate Diaz, it’s like normal for me. You know what I mean? It’s like, people expect me to win. But if I lose, I lose a big part of my legacy, I lose my name. I think it’s not worth it for me. Logically, it’s not worth it."

I like that idea. I'm interested to see if GSP can make the cut and if he can't I think Nate would take a catch weight fight versus GSP. It's a good test to see if GSP can cut to 155.

Plus he gets to try to beat the cat who beat his brother.

Sure kid. Let me spell it out for you.....

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Hope that helped. A win over Nate gets him Conor in December

GSP will be 3 division champion within the calendar year.

So no proof?
Thanks!

You really think GSP would have to fight Nate to get a fight with Conor?
LOL!
If GSP wanted a fight with Conor Dana would set it up.
It would be one of the biggest fights in UFC history.
Why waste a fight with Nate on GSPs 3(?) fight contract?

Nate is a good tune up for him he wont have to worry about a takedown, and a great fight to test the waters and build interest in a Conor fight by fighting Conors main UFC rival and perhaps dominating him in better fashion it builds a storyline for the casuals.

or dana just making shit up.

When I heard about GSP vs. Nate, I thought it was a hint towards the 165 lbs weightclass actually getting introduced.

Can GSP even make 155 pounds, as a 37yo btw, without killing himself?

Because he's never fight at 155 before and why not take a match up that favors him and will still be a pretty big payday. It gives him a test fight basically and he gets the Diaz payday AND the Connor payday.

Seems like a no brainer to me.

No. It's a stupid fight with only 1 possible outcome. Same as Nate's fight with Khabib. Both of them would absolutely smash Nate to pieces. This is not a legacy fight. It is just an easy money fight. And stupid casuals will pay for it.

they want nate back. Getting him a fight with gsp works at getting two stars back. If nate wins they make conor vs nate 3. If gsp wins they make khabib vs gsp and still make conor vs nate 3. its a win win win as gsp would say
