low center of gravity makes him harder to knock down
Also quite possibly the best chin in the division.
Gastelum is championship material at WW too bad he racks disciprine.
Condit ate several of those too. I think Kelvin has the better chin but condit is up there
Takes that bomb from Woodley yet gets dropped by Rick Story of all people
Kevin eats a lot of things...
He manages to split decision Woodley(loss) and was hospitalized a day before he fought woodley
Condit did too.
Getting punched in the face is weird like that sometimes.
He still maintained his marbles though.
you realize that Gastelum came in 10lbs overweight for that fight and had the benefit of not cutting any weight, right?
if he had actually been professional, Twood would have beat him even harder
i think thats the only time he got stunned
That was clean, kudos to gas
Till looked like an overmatched goof in there..... his 44-0 with 38 KO’s Muay Thai record is completely sketch.
Dat mexican chin.
Kelvin has an insane chin. Took some absolute bombs from Jacare and just kept coming.
Story hits hard so no surprise.
Condit ate some and looked unphased but I think he got dropped a time or two as well. Condit had a fucking stupid chin. A lot of fighters, like Mark Hunt for example, have great chins but they also know how to roll with punches or at least frame themselves properly to take them. Condit would be out of position, on one leg, with his chin in the air and eat punches from monsters and just be fine. Shit was silly and probably why his chin died.
Woodley really schooled Kelvin in that fight. Used his footwork and timing to walk him into right hands all night long.
Shields took that backfist and barely flinched.
Everybody likes to rag on Shields' striking, but dude had an epic chin in his prime.
